(Only needed for vehicles 2011 or newer)
What do I need to do?
Only if your vehicle is 2011 or newer, we need a clear and legible photo of your vehicle’s odometer. The mileage in this photo must match the mileage stated on the VIN Inspection Form. It’s easiest to take this photo at the same time the vehicle is undergoing its VIN Inspection. This readout can be in kilometers (Km).
Double-check that the odometer is displaying the vehicle’s full mileage (not a trip odometer reading).
Why is this needed?
The DMV needs a photo of the vehicle’s odometer to visually confirm the mileage.
