Ferrari is set to launch its first and only electric vehicle (EV) this October, confirmed by CEO Benedetto Vigna. 

Declining to provide any further detail about the brand's first-ever electric vehicle, although he mentioned that Ferrari would bring something new to the table compared to other EVs. 

Ferrari achieved record sales last year and is anticipating a busy 2025 with the introduction of six new models, according to Motor1 News.

The announcement was included in the document prepared for investors regarding the company's results for 2024, Motor1 News said. 

Ferrari is poised for a significant year ahead. The high-performance Italian automaker achieved record sales in 2024, delivering a total of 13,752 vehicles worldwide, driven by the 296 GTS, the Roma Spider, and Ferrari's first SUV, the Purosangue, according to Car and Driver.

The sales success resulted in an 11.8 percent revenue increase, reaching nearly $7 billion at current exchange rates, Car and Driver said.

The car manufacturer announced an October 9 reveal during its Capital Markets Day in Maranello, Italy, according to Reuters.

Ferrari hasn't seen an EV model yet, but hybrids have gained a lot of attention in recent years. Electrified models have recorded for a total of 51% of shipments in 2024, Motor1 News said.
