What do I need to do?

We need one photo of the vehicle’s VIN on the vehicle itself. The photo must be of the vehicle you are registering.

• Make sure the photo is clear

• Make sure nothing is cropped out

Why is this needed?

The DMV needs a photo of the vehicle’s VIN to visually confirm the vehicle’s identity and further limit their liability.
