What do I need to do?

Provide us with your Lienholder Account Number related to your loan with your lienholder.

• The simplest way to do this is to write it on our power of attorney form in the designated area SHOWN HERE

Why is this needed?

If you are financing, the lienholder most likely holds your ownership documents such as the vehicle’s title or MCO/MSO. We need the Lienholder Account Number so we can contact the lienholder and transfer the title to South Dakota on your behalf. For added security, lienholders require us to present your Account Number instead of just giving your name or other basic information.
