What does this do?
A Power of Attorney is a legal document that grants limited rights to perform actions on behalf of a user. In our case, your POA allows us to handle paperwork related to your vehicle on your behalf. The POA is not used for anything outside the scope of your order.
What do I need to do?
This form must be completed in front of a notary. Sign the form in front of the notary so they can notarize your signature. In some states like California, the notary may include a separate form called a Jurat as shown here. If this is the case, include the Jurat with your completed POA.
If your checklist says this form can be notarized online, see THIS page for more info. If your checklist does not say that, the notarization must happen in person.
How do I deliver this to Dirt Legal?
The completed POA can be sent to us digitally. It does not have to be mailed.
We will cover sending your documents in a later step. For now, once this is complete, just set it in the Send Pile.
